I was born in the Northern General Hospital on the 19th march 1968. Lived and grew up on Chippingham Street Attercliffe, Sheffield.
This is the earliest picture of me I have with my Dad, brother Graham and me on the right. It's a little fish in my hands. Don't know about those black tights though.
I attended (when I was there) Huntsmans Garden School. This is one of my early school photos - had a bit more hair then !!!!
Only ever went in the juniors before we temporarily moved. Was quite glad of that, as I didn't want to reach the senior part after hanging over the fence watching the teachers military line the bigger kids up to go back into class. If you were out of line, you would get a clip around the ear or worse whacked with the cane. We would watch with Horror and hope we never had to move up to the senior school.
Spent most of our summer holidays at Skegness. Two whole weeks (my Dad would be pulling his hair out after the first few days). Loved it there. My favorite red ball here too. Would make a calendar as shown on Blue Peter and mark off the days. Had an exc Rabbit ride I would want to ride on every year too - anything else faster and I would be sick lol.
Some of my favorite outfits from Hitchens (not my choice) - bought from Hitchens on Attercliffe Road. Along with the bright blue parker coats that would make dogs attack me. The grey suit with pink elastic tie-which was great for my brother to pull at arms length, then let go and smack me in the throat.
And as you can see, a nice mustard cheese cloth shirt with matching blue jeans - and yes they are embroidered flowers on the bottoms.
Come on you all had them
Rest of my time was spent around Attercliffe and this is where my memories are
